Semrén & Månsson is a firm of architects with more than 40 years of experience in town planning, building design, interior furnishing and product design.
The company employs around 50 employees in Stockholm and Gothenburg and has the pool of knowledge and capability required to generate innovative ideas in specific and viable construction projects. “This is without doubt one of the most interesting projects in Gothenburg to work on. It features all the challenges that an architect can be required to face,” says Magnus Månsson, Professor of Architecture and CEO of Semrén & Månsson.
“We have chosen to make use of classical and imperial colours that radiate the impression of splendour, luxury and light. These colours contrast neatly with the neutral flooring, which encompasses of a variety of materials and features a consistent theme of black, white and shades of grey. It comprises everything from stone, ceramic materials and textiles of different lustres and textures. The different floor surfaces delimit and define the space while simultaneously reinforcing the impression of moving through the building,” explains Magnus Månsson.
